Hello Again!

It’s been a long year — broke my arm in February and am only just beginning to regain any kind of range of motion now. I had never realized how much I used my left arm…

However I have not been completely unproductive — check out my ‘New Work’ page to see what I’ve been up to this year.

Fall Festival 2010 was successful for the Willamette Ceramics Guild and I am looking forward to participating in the ‘Festival of the Guilds’ at the Corvallis Art Center in November and the “Holiday Market” at OSU Memorial Union in December.

But I have to say that the highlight of my summer was the “Figurative Sculpture” workshop at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology with M.J. Anderson. I haven’t yet fired my pieces yet, but I’ll post photos as soon as…

I’ve just posted some of the latest stuff out of my kiln…it finally cooled down enough for a couple of firings.

Now I’m busy trying to get ready for Fall Festival!

I’ve been busy, but the weather recently has been way too hot (106 degrees!) to fire… I hope to be posting some more photos soon…

Next big event for me is the Corvallis Fall Festival. I hope to see you there – at the Willamette Ceramics Guild booth.

Fall Festival has come and gone… those of us showing at the Willamette Ceramics Guild booth had a great time and a successful weekend!

Now I am getting ready for WinterLight at the Corvalllis Arts Center. I hope you will visit — there are a lot of wonderful artists showing there.
